August 15th! Listen, we know things are crazy, but we absolutely appreciate letting us know as soon as possible. It can get harder to plan a wedding when we have undecided’s (& we are already losing our minds for planning a wedding in less than 4 months) so we’d love if you could make our lives a bit easier! We will thank you with as much cake as your heart desires.

Our theme for the wedding is Italian Garden party, so think of that! Summer suits, floral gowns/dresses, flowy, colorful, etc. If you google “Garden Chic", you’ll get a great idea too— Pinterest could be your best friend!

Also keep in mind this event will be outdoors, although mostly covered, and weather can go either way at the end of September.

Anyone who wants to wear heels— there are a bit of stairs and grass, so just be mindful! That’s what I would want to know - Halle

Mostly outside! We will be utilizing our covered patio areas + a tent for the majority of the event. Just plan on a mixture of temperatures!

This is an adult-only wedding unless we have spoken to you already! Parents, we hope this is a great excuse for a date night for you!

Since there is not parking available at the Hillman residence, we will be utilizing shuttles to bring you to the event. We have one shuttle from the Courtyard Charlotte Fort Mill and a few running from the local park just 2 minutes down the road. For specific times, please refer to the “Full Schedule” or “Accommodations” pages on the main menu.

With that being said, we have a 4:30pm ceremony start time and would love for you arrive as close to 4 as you can— this gives you time to enjoy our welcome drinks and take in the incredible lake view beforehand! Due to the flow of the wedding, we will be shutting the front doors right at 4:30 until the end of the ceremony and come on, you don’t want to miss that!

Listen, if there’s one thing about us— we are going make sure you are well fed and “hydrated” hehe. Yes to all of the above! We will have liquor, wine, beer, seltzers available. And of course anything can be made a mocktail + waters, sodas, and juices. We also have a section on the RSVP to add if you have any allergies we should be made aware of. We will reach out to you beforehand to help you with food selections.

Halle here! Don’t worry— we have 3 types of people taking photos and videos during the entire night. With that being said, we ask that you just set your phones down and enjoy our (short) ceremony. Your hands will probably be too preoccupied with your welcome drink anyways! The rest of the night you are welcome and encouraged to take as many photos and videos as you’d like and please share with us!

As much as we want to allow all of our friends and family to have one, our space is only so big! Each party is allowed up to 2 people, but do know if you choose to come solo, we appreciate it more than you know. We would love to celebrate with those closest to us in our family home!

Hey, it’s Ken— DUH. Our plan is to take the shuttle back to the Courtyard Charlotte Fort Mill and walk to the main area of Kingsley to the brewery! What’s better than a beer in our nice outfits after we’ve danced our asses off!
